Handmade Metal Christmas Ornaments

These one-of-a-kind ornaments are hand made by those Water@Work serves.  Working with nothing but scraps of steel from metal drums, a hammer, and stones, these artisans create beautiful works of art to hang from a Christmas Tree, or on your walls.   

 

Each painstaking piece starts as a raw piece of scrap metal that is cut to the desired shape.  The edges are worked to ensure safety and cut-free handling.  Then using nothing but a hammer and a stone, the artist will indent the surface to provide rich detail.  Each piece is uniquely designed and hand made.  Whether for your family Christmas tree, as outside wall art, or as a gift that shows your concern and support for those that struggle in the Dominican Republic, these works of beauty will always be appreciated.  Collect all five!
